This past Sunday, I laced up my running shoes and joined a local running club for an early morning run. The catch? It was 14 degrees outside. Every rational thought told me to stay indoors where it was warm, but I knew that getting out there—especially when it was tough—was more important than any perfect-weather workout.
The run itself? Not exactly fun. My face was numb, my hands took forever to warm up, and I questioned my life choices more than once. But by the time we finished, I felt something even better than warmth: pride. Pushing through uncomfortable moments is where real growth occurs, and showing up on tough days makes the good days feel effortless.
Have you stepped outside your comfort zone lately? Whether it’s an early morning workout, a cold-weather run, or just making healthier choices throughout the day, consistency beats perfection every time.
Keep at it!
