Trying something new

Two years ago, I stepped out of my comfort zone and signed up for a master swim class. Up until then, I’d always swum laps solo, content in my routine but hesitant to join a group of fellow swimmers.


Looking back, that decision made a world of difference. Not only did I improve my stroke and become a better swimmer, but I also had the chance to connect with amazing people along the way.

Trying something new can be intimidating, but it’s often where the most growth happens. If there’s something you’ve been hesitant to try, take that first step—you might just surprise yourself.
