This Independence Day, I’m reminded that one of the greatest freedoms we have is the ability to keep growing.

We’re free to improve. Free to reset goals. Free to become more of who we’re meant to be.

In my life, that looks like putting in the work, finding purpose in the grind, and building a future I can be proud of — professionally, personally, and everywhere in between.

So here’s to showing up. To learning. To chasing the best version of ourselves — no matter where we are in the journey.

Thank you for your time, and have a Fantastic Friday.

This morning, I swam 3,125 yards.

That’s 125 laps. One wall. Turn. Push off. Again. And again. And again.

At some point during lap 87 (or maybe 64 I lost count), it hit me:

This is what progress really looks like.

Not loud. Not glamorous. Just quiet effort stacked on quiet effort.

Yes, there will be a photo. Why? Because I’ve noticed physical stories always hit harder on here. Maybe sweat just makes us more relatable.

But seriously—this swim wasn’t about hitting a personal record.

It was about showing up.

It was about honoring a commitment I made to myself.

It was about finding a rhythm, even when my brain whispered, “You’ve done enough. Hit the hot tub.”

That’s where the growth happens when no one’s watching but you.

We all have our version of 3,125 yards.

It might be finishing a tough work week.

It might be speaking up in a meeting when your heart’s pounding.

It might be saying “no” when people-pleasing used to be your default.

Small wins matter.

They build momentum.

They shape identity.

They remind you that you’re capable especially on the days you doubt it.

Your Fantastic Friday Challenge:

Think back on your week. What was one small victory that you’re proud of?

Maybe no one else noticed but you did.

Share it. Celebrate it. Let’s normalize progress that isn’t always picture-perfect.

And if you’ve got a victory that left you soaking wet and gasping for air—well, we’ve definitely got something in common.

Thank you for your time and have a Fantastic Friday.

We often chase big wins — the breakthrough moments, the recognition, the finish line. But in reality, the engine behind any meaningful achievement isn’t found in one-time bursts of effort. It’s built into the quiet, consistent actions we take every day.

Consistency is the unsung hero of progress. It’s the early alarm when no one else is awake. It’s the commitment to training when your legs are tired. It’s the daily choices — from what you eat to how you lead to how you show up for your family and your team. And over time, these repeated actions compound into results that no shortcut can match.

As a father, endurance athlete, and someone rebuilding a life with purpose, consistency is the foundation. Training for an Ironman 70.3 isn’t about one epic workout. It’s about weeks and months of showing up. It’s about pushing through on the days when motivation is nowhere to be found — because I know what I’m working toward.

That same principle applies to our careers and personal development. You don’t build trust with your clients or colleagues overnight. You do it by delivering, listening, and supporting them consistently. You don’t suddenly become a role model — you earn that title with every choice to lead by example.

Yes, life gets hard. There are setbacks, doubts, and days that feel like failures. But when you’re consistent, you build something stronger than motivation: discipline. And that discipline becomes your anchor when the storm hits.

So, what’s the goal you’re chasing? A promotion? A healthier lifestyle? A better relationship with your kids? Whatever it is, remember — it’s not about being perfect. It’s about being present. Committed. Day in and day out.

Because when you stay consistent, you stay in the game. And that’s when the real transformation begins.

Thanks for reading — and as always… have a Fantastic Friday.

– Frank

Let me share a story.

Around Christmas, my family and I handed out gifts to members of the lake community I grew up in. After the event, my daughter came up to me and said, “Dad, a guy came over and said because of your posts, he’s now running 5Ks and taking better care of himself.”

She didn’t remember his name.

But that moment hit me.

Something I shared on Facebook or Instagram impacted someone I didn’t even know was watching. It also made my daughter proud of something her dad did, and that meant the world.

Shortly after, I created The Fantastic Playbook, and I’ve kept building it—for that one person who needs to see a post at the right time.

Fast-forward a few weeks: a friend from high school reached out. He told me he and another friend were working to lose 50 pounds because they saw me finish a 70.3 and thought, “If Frank can do it, maybe I can too.”

That’s my why.

I post to inspire one person to take the first step, to believe in themselves, and to be a little better today than they were yesterday.

A few weeks ago, Michael Tecce posted an incredible video about having a strong why. It reminded me why I show up, share my journey, and stay consistent.

If this resonates with you, I’d love for you to comment and reshare this with your network. You never know who might be that one person who needs it today.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Let’s be honest—looking in the mirror and trying to find your strengths isn’t easy.

You’ve accomplished so much, but it still feels like it’s not enough compared to everyone else.

That’s crap, and deep down, you know it.

You show up every day. You push through the doubt. You keep going even when it’s hard.

But I get it—acknowledging your strengths can feel like a struggle. I’ve been there. I still go there.

Here are a few ways to help you see the incredible progress you’ve made:

Write down your wins—big or small. Remember when you kept your cool when you usually wouldn’t, that workout you didn’t want to do but crushed anyway, or that meeting you spoke up in?

Ask someone close to you. Sometimes, others see our strengths more clearly than we do. Ask a trusted friend what they admire about you—you might be surprised.

Reflect on challenges you’ve overcome. Look at what you’ve faced and how far you’ve come from where you started. That’s strength. That’s growth.

Use a journal prompt: “What am I proud of this week?” or “What did I handle better today than I would have six months ago?”

You’re stronger than you give yourself credit for.

Today, take a second to look in the mirror and see the person who’s been showing up when it matters most.

Consider commenting or resharing this post if you like what you’re reading. Someone in your network might really need it today.

Have a Freaking Fantastic Friday!
