Over the past two Fridays, I’ve shared glimpses of my RAGBRAI adventure — and now that I’m back, let me say: what a trip it was.
448 miles. 10,099 feet of climbing.
One unforgettable week.
New to me this year was what Iowa delivers: the Four Horsemen — Hills, Humidity, Headwinds, and Heat.
I’m far from a roadie (give me single track any day), but this time, the friendships and shared purpose made every mile worth it.
Here’s the truth:
On the brutal headwind day, I might’ve sent a message saying, “I’m never doing this again.”
But honestly, I think that moment captured what keeps me going — the end goal.
Some days didn’t go as planned. But the mission was simple: finish.
And finish we did together.
We motivated each other through the wind, coached each other up the hills, and reminded each other why we signed up in the first place.
When you’re surrounded by people chasing similar goals, we all rise.
Together, we accomplished more than just the miles. We built something better — momentum.
If you liked this post and others I’ve shared, please consider sharing it with your network.
I’m genuinely blown away by the growing number of weekly subscribers and the kind messages I’ve received.
Have a Fantastic Friday.
You might’ve had a few rough days, but look — you made it. You crushed it.
