Fantastic Friday – Winning the WFH Game

Working from home sounds like the dream: no commute, your own space, maybe even sweatpants all day. But here’s the reality… it comes with its own challenges.

For me, the hardest one is blurred boundaries.

It’s too easy to roll out of bed, open the laptop, and never really “clock out.” Before you know it, you’ve put in ten hours, grabbed lunch at your desk, and your day feels like one long blur.

That’s why I’ve built a simple system that keeps me grounded:

  • capture notebook (small, portable) → where I jot down ideas, frustrations, or sparks of inspiration during the day.
  • tracking notebook (larger, like a bullet journal) → where I measure the habits that matter: training hours, reading time, even shutting the laptop by 6 p.m.

Here’s the magic: when you track something, you see the patterns. When you see the patterns, you can change them. And when you change them, you win back control of your day.

👉 My challenge to you this week: track one WFH habit. Maybe it’s movement, perhaps it’s boundaries, maybe it’s reducing the “Reply All” storms. Try it three times — once to get past the discomfort, twice to practice, and the third time to decide if it sticks.

WFH isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress. And progress, stacked over time, builds victories.

Thank you for your time — and have a Fantastic Friday.
