This week, I want to discuss something that often gets overlooked in pursuing big goals: micro wins.
We all love achieving something massive, running a marathon, launching a product, or landing a new role. But the truth is, those big wins? They’re built on hundreds of tiny victories stacked together.
What’s a micro win?
- Waking up 10 minutes earlier to stretch.
- Sending that email you’ve been putting off.
- Showing up for a workout when you didn’t feel like it.
- Choose water instead of soda at lunch.
- Asking one more question in a client meeting.
Why do they matter?
Because micro wins:
- Build momentum
- Reinforce your identity (“I’m someone who follows through.”)
- Help you course-correct quickly
- Create compounding results over time
Most importantly, they are proof that you’re showing up. Even on the days when motivation is low, action still counts.
This week, I challenge you to notice and track your micro wins. You’ll be amazed at how far you’re moving forward.
What was your favorite micro win this week?
Drop it in the comments and let’s celebrate the progress that doesn’t always make the highlight reel.
Thank you for your time, and have a Fantastic Friday!
