The other day, I mentioned my morning playlist and one song that keeps playing on repeat is “Daydream” by Lily Meola. If you haven’t heard it yet, give it a listen. It’s not just a song it’s a challenge. A challenge to dream big, set goals that scare you, and go after them anyway.
Let me be clear these posts aren’t about saying, “Look what I can do.” They’re more like a nudge to say, “Hey… you’re capable of more than you think.”
This morning during swim practice, we started talking about a bucket-list ride: High Point to Cape May. Roughly 200+ miles and about 18+ hours in the saddle. It sounds a little crazy, and that’s exactly why I want to do it.
So here I am, saying it out loud:
📌 I want to log this ride on my Strava.
There’s a lyric in that song that hit me hard:
“If it makes you nervous, it’s probably worth it.”
That’s the energy I’m taking into the weekend.
You’ve made it through another week now finish strong.
Set a goal that gives you butterflies.
Speak it into existence.
Take the first step.
You’ll amaze yourself with what you can turn from a daydream into reality.
👇 What’s a goal that scares you (just a little)? Drop it below and let’s encourage each other.
Thank you Erin Wentzell for sharing this song and being my support team for these adventures.
